Born in Ridgewood, New Jersey, Dr. Post graduated from Hamilton College in 1970 and from the University of Pennsylvania Dental School in 1973. His dental school career was notable as he completed a four-year program in three years maintaining his ranking as first in his class all three years. He stayed at Penn for his orthodontic training and moved to Keene, New Hampshire, to start private practice in 1976.
For over ten years, he was a regular attending faculty member in the Department of Orthodontics at Harvard Dental School. Besides the usual dental association memberships, Dr. Post has served in several organizations since 1980: Delta Dental, New Hampshire Peer Review (Monadnock and State Chairman); New Hampshire Society of Dentistry for Children; New Hampshire Association of Orthodontists (President), Big Brothers and Big Sisters (Board President), Hospice of Cheshire County (Board President), Hospice of the Monadnock Region (Board President), Council for a Healthier Community at Cheshire Medical Center, Monadnock Region Dental Society (President), Dental supervisor Cheshire Smiles Program, and Vice Chairman Orthodontic Healthcare Committee of the New England Society of Orthodontists. |
